The Google Authenticator mobile app is free and can be set up in two minutes. It provides a unique six-digit code to validate each of your withdrawals. This is an additional security measure, as withdrawals from your Regular account can only be transferred to the bank account in your name that was used to credit your Regular account.
To set it up, follow these steps:
1. If you don't already have it, install the “Google Authenticator” app on your mobile device:
- iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/google-authenticator/id388497605
- Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en&gl=US&pli=1
Please note that this is a free mobile app. Make sure that the logo is this one:
2. Opening the Google Authenticator app for the first time
The app will ask you if you want to connect to an existing Google account or “Use Authenticator without an account.” You can choose either option; both will work for your Regular account.
3. Add Regular to your Google Authenticator app
In the Google Authenticator app:
- Click on “Add a code” > “Enter a configuration key.”
- Enter the account name of your choice for this key, for example “Regular personal,”
- For “Key type,” keep the “Time-based” setting.
You must now enter your configuration key. You will find it in your Regular account customer area, “Menu” > “Withdrawal” > ‘Next’ > “Configuration key.”
Copy the activation code provided by Regular and enter it in the “Your key” field in the Google Authenticator app.
That's it, everything is OK. You can now use your Google Auth app to validate your withdrawals by entering the 6 digits provided by the Google Auth app.
