A stablecoin is a digital asset whose value replicates that of a reference currency or commodity. For example, the EURC stablecoin has a value of 1 euro (+/- 0.5%).
We invest these stablecoins in automated currency exchange offices (“liquidity pools”) and in yield protocols.
We have chosen to work only with stablecoins on the euro and the US dollar, whose value is guaranteed at least 100% by other assets when they are created. For example, when an EURC is issued, a traditional euro is placed in a bank as collateral by Circle, the company that issues the EURC (to operate on the European market, Circle has the status of an Electronic Money Institution issued by the ACPR in France).
This principle provides security to solidify the existence of the stablecoin, unlike other stablecoins that have experienced setbacks in the past because they were simple algorithms with no collateral deposited, such as UST.
Currently, the stablecoins used by the Regular are as follows:
USDC
EURC
crvUSD
PYUSD
RLUSD
FRAX
GHO
reUSD
frxUSD
USD0
USDAI
Note:
The assets in the Regular account are built from stablecoins, but they are not stablecoins themselves. For example, in March 2025, one of the assets consists of USDC and crvUSD placed in a liquidity pool at Curve (Ethereum chain), and the tokens received as proof of deposit are staked at Convex. By making an investment, you become the owner of tokens from Curve's USDC/crvUSD pool that are staked at Convex.
In your customer area, you can view the list of assets you hold at any time in the “Asset Details” section of the Menu.
